VIDSETRO Injection contains Ondansetron, a potent anti-emetic used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery. Ondansetron works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance in the body that can cause vomiting.
It is administered via intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection under medical supervision. Its fast-acting formula offers rapid relief, making it especially useful in clinical or emergency care settings.
SIDE EFFECTS
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Common side effects may include:
Headache
Constipation
Fatigue
Dizziness
Injection site reactions (pain, redness, or swelling)
Rare but serious side effects may include:
Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling of face/tongue)
Chest pain

INDICATION
VIDSETRO Injection is indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with:
Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)
Radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (RINV)
Post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV)
