Vidsetro contains Ondansetron, a powerful antiemetic medicine used to prevent and control nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions. It works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance in the body that can trigger nausea and vomiting.
The mouth-dissolving tablet formulation ensures rapid onset of action, making it especially useful for patients who have difficulty swallowing or are actively nauseated.
SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects may include:
Headache
Fatigue or drowsiness
Constipation
Sensation of warmth or flushing
Rare but serious side effects:
Irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia)
Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling, difficulty breathing)
Blurred vision or temporary visual disturbances (usually with IV use)
INDICATION
Vidsetro is used to prevent or treat:
Nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy or radiotherapy
Post-operative nausea and vomiting
Nausea due to certain medications or medical conditions
Motion sickness (off-label in some cases – consult your doctor)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Place the tablet on the tongue and allow it to dissolve; do not swallow whole. No water is required.

Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.
