DESCRIPTION
Vidset-M is a combination of an antihistamine and a leukotriene receptor antagonist used to treat allergies and respiratory conditions.
Levocetirizine is an advanced antihistamine that blocks the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and itching.
Montelukast works by blocking leukotrienes, which are chemicals in the body that cause inflammation, swelling, and constriction of airways.
Together, they provide comprehensive relief from seasonal and perennial allergic conditions, while also helping to prevent asthma symptoms.
SIDE EFFECTS
Most side effects are mild and temporary. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.
Common side effects:
Drowsiness or fatigue
Dry mouth
Headache
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea
Nausea
Rare but serious side effects:
Mood changes, agitation, or unusual behavior (mostly with Montelukast)
Severe allergic reaction (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty)
INDICATION
Vidset-M is indicated for:
Allergic rhinitis (sneezing, nasal congestion, runny or itchy nose)
Seasonal allergies
Chronic urticaria (hives, skin allergies)
Asthma (as a supportive treatment)
Allergic conjunctivitis
