VIDOPRA-40 Injection contains Pantoprazole Sodium 40 mg, a potent proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces excessive stomach acid production. It is used when oral administration is not possible or rapid acid suppression is required. This injectable form offers quick symptom relief in conditions associated with acid hypersecretion.
SIDE EFFECTS
Most side effects are mild and resolve as the body adjusts to the medication. Common side effects include:
Headache
Nausea
Abdominal pain
Diarrhea or constipation
Injection site pain or redness
Less common or serious effects (rare):
Electrolyte imbalance (e.g., low magnesium)
Vitamin B12 deficiency (with prolonged use)

INDICATION
VIDOPRA-40 Injection is indicated for the treatment of:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Peptic ulcers (gastric or duodenal)
Erosive esophagitis
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Acid-related damage due to prolonged NSAID use
Stress ulcers in critically ill patients
Post-operative nausea and acid-related symptoms
