PODELEVEN 50 Dry Syrup contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil 50 mg, a third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic. It is effective against a wide range of bacterial infections in children by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. It is formulated as a palatable dry syrup, making it easy to administer to children.

Most side effects are mild and resolve on their own. These may include:

• Diarrhea

• Nausea or vomiting

• Abdominal pain

• Skin rash

• Headache

In rare cases, serious allergic reactions can occur. Discontinue use and seek medical help if your child develops rash, itching, swelling, or breathing difficulty.

PODELEVEN 50 is indicated for the treatment of:

• Upper and lower respiratory tract infections
  (e.g., pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis)

• Otitis media (ear infections)

• Typhoid fever (pediatric cases)

• Shake well before each use.
