LOXITA-MS Suspension is a synergistic combination of three powerful agents:

• Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA replication, helping to kill bacteria responsible for gastrointestinal infections.

• Metronidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent effective against anaerobic bacteria and parasites.

• Activated Dimethicone is an anti-foaming agent that helps relieve bloating, gas, and abdominal discomfort.

This combination offers comprehensive protection against a wide range of bacterial and protozoal infections, especially those affecting the digestive tract in children.

Most children tolerate LOXITA-MS well. However, some may experience mild to moderate side effects such as:

• Nausea or vomiting

• Metallic taste in mouth

• Abdominal cramps

• Dizziness

• Loss of appetite

• Loose motions (rare)

• Allergic rash (rare)

• Diarrhea and dysentery of mixed infections

• Amoebiasis and Giardiasis
